My dealer informed me my build is at V250, which I believe is "Vehicle Fixed for Production". Is it only a couple weeks from V250 until production is complete or are there a bunch of variables I'm not aware of? Thanks in advance.

Just so I don't get too many hopes up, this was posted to show what happens when it hits V250. That V200 actual date can be a little confusing. That date changes every time you check the status until the order progresses past V200. That 11/29/17 date is the date it went to V210 - Freeze Point Reached. This order was actually placed on 10/12/17, so I was just trying to illustrate how things went into overdrive once it hit V250. But yes, it was quite a bit ahead of schedule, as that planned 3/9 date was given to me back on 10/12, and it kept fluctuating back and forth between 3/9 & 3/16 until it locked.

I wonder if making changes in V200 and V210/220 makes any change to the V250 or anything after that.

Just got word my build went to V260 (Vehicle entry to body shop) today! I assume that is the official start of production. To supplement my initial post, the V250 Actual Date was 1/22/18. Moving along nicely - more quickly than I expected. Damn this is fun!

On a side note, I called PCNA in Atlanta yesterday to see if there was any way for me to track this progress without constantly bugging my dealer. Not only did they say "no", but the person I talked to couldn't even pull up these status codes. Surprised me.

I hope it will be fun for me once I get to V250! Mine was pushed back two months and the wait has been killing me.

Looks like our cars will be running through the production line together. My Planned entry to body shop was also 2/9, but it went today. I look forward to hearing more about your build.

@Avalon911, wow, that is some great news. I texted my dealer to see if mine had a change as well.
When did yours get fixed V250? mine was V250 on 1/23 (3 days ahead of schedule).
Does NJ cars go through Jacksonville as well? There are 2 options in Feb I'm hoping we can make:
247 VIKING CONQUEST - 2/15 which would arrive on 3/2 in to FL.
188 HOEGH BANGKOK - 2/26 which would arrive on 3/15 in to FL.

Routes are from Emden to Halifax, Nova Scotia (sometimes - not every ship stops there), then Davisville, RI, then Jacksonville FL.

Interesting. I had an X5 built for my wife last year and they have a 1-800 number you can call and it tells you where the car is in the process. She was calling it 5 times a day at one point
