+1

Sounds like you got the itch. Time to spec a new car from the ground up. Experience something new. Life is short.

^^
That’s one of my biggest issues with it. Lack of visual width and aggression. They remind me of “cute” VW Bug tips or something. The GT3 center exhausts look a bit better amidst the more overall aggressive rear and because the two tips sit closer to each other (the spacing on the .2 PSE tips is odd to me, makes them look extra small) imo.

Someone had to say it!

Don’t mind us silly N/A guys, .2’ers, you still got more torque!

Easy mods IMO:

1) steering wheel / airbag from .2 (several posts on how to do this depending on what wheel you have, Easiest for manual transmission non-multi-function wheel)
2) Get a DSC V3 suspension box. Way better than the ,2 suspension IMO and more programmable / customizable. Apples to apples I do agree the .2 SPASM is more refined and takes bumps / road imperfections better than .1. Benefit of the DSC box is that it also improves steering feel.
3) Larger / higher center armrest
4) Rearview mirror

Mods with some work but not crazy:
1) Apple CarPlay by buying module listed in another thread and retrofitting it to PCM 3.1 and elminating Sirius module.
2) Don’t know if there’s anything else that makes these lists. If so, chime in!

Link to this DSC box (that works for a 991.1)?

I agree with half - anyone wanting more acceleration should trade for a .2, its a huge increase.

If you want RAS - trade for the #2.

The mods on the .1 are no more expensive, Modding it to get the acceleration of the #2 likely just won't happen for under 30K and even then it's not going to keep up with a tuned one.

KVD also has a suspension tuning software.

Let's put the show on the other for for a minute - How much would it cost to get a #2 to sound as good or be as linear as a #1?

Just get the car that speaks to you. The price overlap on the second hand market is very minimal.

Is it relatively easy to replace the 991.1 tailights on a C2S with ones from a 991.2. They do look amazing

Dang... they really look great. When I see my 991.1 tailights, they suddenly look pretty bland and dated. Thanks for letting me know.

Is there anything aesthetically that we can do to bring it a little closer to the 991.2 besides the tailights.

i remember when guys were buying body kits to make their SC or 3.2 look like a 964. it was a bad idea then and it's a bad idea now.
