The quickjack's have wheels and are fairly easy to move out of the way. In reality, you aren't using them a lot, so moving them into place when needed is the best way to go.

We love ours!

You don’t actually drive over the quick jack with your wheels, so you wouldn’t feel any bumps at all.
You move them in the center. Drive over it and it comes with an arm tool that you use to pull the jacks from the center to the edges.

I'm using a 5000slx. My car is lowered with H&R springs and have no issues going over the quickjack. I use the short rubber pads.

For those of you using the quickjack 5000SLX, is there still room between block and car before you start to lift? I'm considering the 7000 to be able to lift my wife's Odyssey and step brother's 4Runner and the 5000 is limit for the weight. The only thing is that the 7000 is 0,5 inch higher than the 5000. I guess I could use 4 wood planks to get more height before using jacks if there is a clearance issue with the 7000.

Thanks for your replies!
I used my 5000SLX to do brakes on a 2014 Sienna awd and also brakes on a Lexus rx350 sport. No issues at all.
lifted both cars up effortlessly.

I have a 7000SLX to lift my GT4. It’s 0,5 inch taller than 5000. To lift LandCruiser you will need the extension platform sold as accesory. I will get a set eventually to be able to lift wife’s Odyssey. You cant use the 7000EXT (extended version) on P cars since it’s too long.

Just used the Quick Jack 5000 on my 991.1 this weekend for the first time to change out the exhaust. Well thought out system that works like a dream.
Lifts the car far enough to work comfortably without extending your arms too far.
I pull them to the center and drive over them, perfect place for storage.
No more jackstands for me.

Love my QJ5000SLX. I should have purchased one years ago. It works perfectly on my 991.1 C2S and my 2002 ACR Viper. I did have to order the shorter 1.5 inch blocks for the Viper. It is very low...

Default Tuxedo MR6K 6,000 lb Mid-Rise Scissor Lift

This is what I have. It’s paid for itself several times over with all the work I’ve done on multiple cars. I was tracking heavily for one year so my 991.2 spent much time on it.

I’ve run into some issues with it and initially customer service was good.... but not lately.

PM with questions.

Any issues with leaving the car on the quickjack for an extended period of time? I like having my neighbors think I'm wrenching on my Porsche.

that one looks great but is there a height to where it’s counterproductive and isn’t the right angle to wrench under? Most of these are just a bit higher than jack stands and makes sense to work on your back (that’s what she said) but that one looks like it could be great to wrench under while on the stool or could be not high enough for a taller person and be frustrating

This is the lift i have as well. Full lift height is about 40 inches. It also has safety stops every 6 to 8 inches if you need less. Im 6'1" and can comfortably sit under the car (on the floor) at full lift height and wrench away.

Biggest issue with this lift was getting it home. Delivery company will bring it to your house but not take it off the truck, so you need a forklift. Other option, which I chose, was to have it delivered to a local shipping yard, rent a flat trailer, and bring in home yourself. Luckily it has attachable wheels, but its still pretty heavy at around 1200 lbs.

NO counterproductive height!!!

Yes, I would love a full-rise lift but limited by ceiling height.

I feel extremely safe under the car.
I work on it either by kneeling or with my adjustable stool.

it was a PIA to get it home but I did it.
no regrets whatsoever!!

Just received an email saying the Quickjack 7000tl was delivered this afternoon. Ordered from Amazon, which said that it could take up to 10 days for delivery. Got it in 3 days. Excited to put it to use! I measured quite a bit to ensure it would work on my 991.2 Targa 4 GTS. Will update this thread with any issues.

Follow, the instructions and have hydraulic fluid on hand. Go through the bleeding process. Pump up air cylinder to 50 psi. They had a bad batch of air cylinders but that seems to have been sorted. If you have access to the Quickjacks when they are stored, check the air pressure. Once you are out of warranty QJ won’t do anything for you.
