And now for the craziest question off the day:
Will an acoustic guitar (in a soft carry bag) fit inside a 991.1? Either front or back seats? I’d like to take out the Targa for a ride since the salt’s washed off the roads; however, don’t want to make the trip twice. Not near the car at the moment as it’s stored off site.
Picking up a little something something for the 22-month-old...

Yes as I recall, although it has been over a year since I traveled with a guitar. A hard shell case Martin or Gibson dreadnought will fit in the front seat upside down for sure but the guitar will move around more in corners. A soft case gives a little more room and would likely fit with the wide part of the case in the foot well. A guitar will also fit in the back area, but at a bit of an angle not straight across which may cause a problem with a comfortable passenger seat location. A Fender Deluxe Reverb fits in the frunck too!

My 12 string Yamaha Eterna in a hardshell fits in the rear seat. I wrap it in an elevator moving blanket to prevent it from scratching or scuffing anything otherwise it will damage it. Also nice to know is a Fender Blues Junior amplifier will fit in the frunk standing up no problem. Jam on!

Pretty much any guitar or bass will fit in the front passenger footwell, assuming there’s no front passenger. Even more room if you have a cab 😉. But the rear shelf is plenty for a six string.
