Default Need your help finalizing in V210

spoke to my dealer today and we were going over last options before V250 (MY18 is at V210).

Need you help on this items please:
Premium Package Plus i.c.w. Alcantara® Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way) which includes the following.

Automatically Dimming Mirrors
Seat Heating (Front)
Porsche Entry & Drive
Light Design Package

I’m not a fan of key less, live in FL so no need for heated seat (wish vented was available for Alcantara, love that look).
The only reason is the Light Design and Dimming mirrors.

What do do you guys think about the Lights design? Is it really needed?
are the stock interior light that bad?
some say they are nonexistent.
Are stock yellowish vs white LED?
anyone has actual pictures?
can you set the LED Light Design on while driving?

how about the mirrors? I’m coming down from a 1500 truck. Im told that all of a sudden all cars behind will blind my mirrors, is that true?

PKG is only 1,500 for all and 1,000 for only these 2. But I’m not so sure I even need any of them.

Thanks,
SBA

None of those options are necessary IMHO - though I do like heated seats after a long run :-)

Mirrors - I drove a 993 without them for 16 years - no problems. Didn't order them
Light Design Package - personal pref - if you like LEDs. I personally prefer Bi-Xenon
Entry & Drive - pricey option just to keep you from having to use the key to start the car (All 991s already have keyless entry - you just have to press the button).

Just my 2 bits.

$420 for mirrors is worth it. I have a 993 and am constantly blinded and it’s been the same with very low car I have had. Light design is just some extra interior lights which I think are annoying.

Go for the dimming mirrors! This is a must in a 911.

Thank you all.
Mai with the mirrors being worth it and he interior lighting important for me, I may as well go for that PKG. the 2 are 1K with the PKG being 1,500 while getting Entry & Drive and heated seats.
Anyone know if the interior lights can be kept on while driving?

Auto dim mirrors are useful.
Also lane control assist in mirrors is new.
I deleted alcantara on seats but wanted heated seats. Seattle. Had to add ventilation too.
Mostly I hear is that interior lighting is disappointing.

Just for accuracy, the Light Design Package has nothing to do with the headlights. It is just interior lighting.

Yep, I know it’s internal only.
But a few guys have said that the stock keep the interior relatively dark and I need a fair amount of lights inside the cabine.
Mom just trying to figure out if they do stay on while driving or not.

As I recall, there are two lighting settings: orientation lighting and ambient lighting. You can tweak the dimmer levels for each in the settings via the multi-function display. The ambient lighting remains on while you drive. There are a few light sources around the cabin for example in the footwells and in the door pockets. It's not really very bright, but I still don't run it at 100% brightness because then I can see my shoes (which bugs me for some reason). It's not that important an option when considered versus something such as the auto dimming mirrors which I consider to be an an absolute requirement.

Thank you, since it’s a pkg I’ll just add them all I guess.

Since you live in warmy Florida, please think twice about the seat ventilaton, its a fantastic option in the 911!

PP+ is an individual taste option . I like the dimming mirrors , seat heating , and the ambient lighting of the light design . I detest entry and drive but feel it is a resale must have . The people who love it consider a car without keyless a deal breaker . I have Porsche's with leather seats , ventilated leather seats , and leather alcantara . I like all of them. I do find the alcantara cooler for the humidity in Florida than the ventilated seats . Just looking at leather in July humidity puts me on notice that I will stick to it . Again it seems to be a personal taste thing where the die hard leather proponents want only leather and visa versa . My equal like of both is not as common.

But in order to get seat ventilation (which is great in any warm clime), you'll have to get rid of the mouse fur.

Maybe it looks nice for some of us, but it is only a cheap syntetical material, which Porsche sells as premium.
