Thanks for the additional pics. Really looks great. Keep us posted how she olds up. Looks like a very worthwhile project. The GT3 bumper sets it off. Also love the steering wheel.

Great job saving a good car. I started with a 356, long before anyone cared. Decades ago so many cars were trashed for damage less than yours had. It's funny to hear that same attitude about newer cars. Now people dig 356s out of fields and junk yards and replace far more metal than you did. I think you did a fair amount of public documentation, too. I'm glad this Porsche didn't die prematurely. Enjoy!!!

Where were you able to buy the front tub from? Having to repair on my car that got damaged. Also had a few questions about repair on my car.

I love watching youtubers rebuild these cars.

I wish I had the talent.

Holy seven year old thread revival! 😆

The OP is probably no longer with us due to a tragic rapid disassembly when his car was bumped in the front by a shopping cart in the Costco parking lot.

Let us pray.🙏

I like those YouTube videos of them rebuilding the porsche cars and when they take the sawzaw to cut off the front end to remove the front clip and it slices through it like cheesecake.

Reminds me of Mat Armstrong - this guy and his dad rebuild all sorts of cars. This GT3 rebuild in particular is worth watching:
