That's interesting, Blue Flame. The UK reviews that I've read have been generally positive about the manual gearchange...

Hiya- the gear change on the 'T' is talked about alot online and on the you tube videos. My take on this is that most journos never liked the 7 speed on the Carrera so assumed that this would be just as bad on the T. However the journos that have driven it say that the short throw lever and 'other improvements' have made it much better, although most people seem to agree that the 6 speed is a better box. I bet when we all get our cars, we will not notice and the gearbox will be fine. These 911's are so perfect these days, that they have to pick up on something no matter how small, anyway I will be smiling so much I will not notice !

Agree completely!

The 7-speed manual box is a good one, although many see the 7th gear as superfluous, and all seem to prefer the 6-speed manual box from GT4, GT3, 911R etc...

I too will be perfectly happy in my manual transmission Carrera T to worry too much about whether someone in a GT3/4 has an even better gearbox!

Spotted today in a UK Porsche Centre. Looks pretty much identical to my build.

There's a black one in Wilmslow OPC (PDK, sunroof, rear seats) and I have to say the colour doesn't do it justice

Looking very sweet, assume you have seen this video showing a bunch of GT3 touring and T's.

A nice yellow T in the mix, some nice shots around 19 mins. Looks great dirty in earlier footage
