Silver cars are always my 3rd choice or lower. They are ubiquitous and do not have the luxurious shine that darker colors do when clean. I don't think the dark blues show streaks and swirls as much as black finishes can. I have a dark blue metallic 991.S cab that I love the look of. I have not seen dark blue metallic next to the night blue, but I did see a night blue 911.2 cab in a showroom that I thought looked great. I was not disappointed by it at all. IMO you will have more latitude in choosing an attractive interior to go with a dark color. For example I don't think beige's or cognac's go well with a silver exterior. Just about anything works with dark blue or black.
