Default Pricing on 2017 base Manual

Heya Guys..

Need someone advice on purchase.. I've been on the hunt for a 991s or 991.2 base *manual* with SC love the rev-match.
I am working on a new 991.2 base, but has 130 miles which seems kinda high from just test drives, however warranty not punched.
MSRP was ~100k: most notably has SC, PSE! But overall light build. Can get it for 85k or 15%..

I live in Cali and car is out of state so will need to also factor in 1,800k for shipping!

What do you guys think? Is it something to jump on.. Ideally wouldn't mind CPO with around 25% but manual's are far and few between.. well ya know!

Not advice really, but maybe helpful to know...

I just did a deal for a heavily optioned ‘17 991.2 S 7MT w/ 1,500 miles at -19% w/CPO. I know the miles aren’t comparable but perhaps the CPO offsets that leaving you to consider how it’s probably harder to get discounts on leaner builds than optioned up ones (Msrp on this one was close to 129k).

it is a good deal , but not great. This time of year people could get 20 % off , but also this depends on how much 2017 inventory is left on the lots .I don't know the answer to that. So you need to do your homework and if you see a lot of inventory left on lots , then you might have better chance at more discount .
my personal approach is for every year you allow 10 %
so you can get on average 7-8 % off a 2018 car either on lot or order
so a 2017 should be 17-18 % off , other wise to me it is not worth it
but is up to you
good luck

I was able to get a 2017 base coupe ($107k MSRP) with SC, SE, 7MT for 17% off last July, so you should be able to do a bit better now.

I think $1,800,000 for shipping is outrageous! ;-)

Just shipped a car from Sacramento to VA for $1,000. $1,800 does seem high to me.

Another data point here that may help you feel good about your deal. Last year, I was only able to get 6% off a $104k build. There weren't any viable alternatives to choose from, and they were taking a hard to sell trade from me. The highest discounts listed in this thread is 17%, you are at 15% now. Try a counter offer, or accept what looks like a good price. If you like how this car is equipped, no way you should let it go for a couple of grand, you may not find a similar car. By the way, I love my base 7MT. I have a few more creature comforts, no PSE and SC...but still love it.

Thank you all for the comments!

Hp12 - You are right, getting harder to find lighter '17 builds especially for manuals.. and not really fussed about new or used. Just trying to get a decent deal since, i went from 65k budget for a 991.1 manual to know almost 95k..

Drive it back.. Lol the car is in Florida, i would if it was half way across.

2001f4s - Was it covered transport? mind Pm'ing me of who you went with!

I would be right on the money of 17% if i had them eat the shipping cost.. I need to sharpen my negotiating skills and get at it!

Is 1800 shipping for a closed trailer or an open bed truck?
