Get it inspected. Some dealers have pride in their work and some lazy. I bought a CPO and found quite a few items were "missed". Dealer was nice but slow. Sent a nastygram email to the service manager and copied Porsche of North America. Told them the CPO program brought me in this particular dealership's door. They picked up my car and took care of it all.

One tip - make sure all maintenance and anything due within six months is complete.

Plenty of unhappy CPO buyers out there. A PPI is less than a lawyer.

Can you please advise where I can find a trusted PPI garage in Germany? There is any list with PPI certified mechanics?

CPO is buying a warranty and a profitable transaction for the dealer. The inspection stated in CPO is snake oil and I'd bet a lot of money that 99/100 CPO cars get the designation without the full inspection - a paperwork exercise at best. However, that warranty is totally worth it.

PPI will detail condition, paint depth and cosmetic condition as well as mechanical condition.
