Default Recommendation for a trickle charger

I'm having shoulder replacement surgery next month and since my Carrera is a manual, I won't be able to drive it for about 2 months. I've never needed a battery charger as it's my daily driver.
I'm assuming that I will need to connect my car to a charger if its going to sit for that long unused. Any recommendations?

Get well soon!

You don't need one for two months. If you want to buy one: buy Porsche's or the C-Tek.

Sounds like you are having rotator cuff surgery. I just recovered from that and couldn't drive either of my manual Porsches according to the Doc. I did anyway. Shifted with my left hand or had my wife or son shift for me. The manual is fantastic physical therapy though.

I have the CTEk 3300. It works great.

not rotator cuff repair - shoulder replacement. I'm told that it's an easier rehab than a rotator repair. Anyway, I'm hoping to cheat and drive my manual in less than 2 months. I like the left handed shifting idea!!

2 months and needing a tender? How many cars sit in dealers' lots for way longer without one?

Open frunk and unclip cover and underneath is a plug. There’s one built into the car. At least there is on 991.2 and is for charging.

There’s one for sale on PCA.ORG website in the classifieds. Used.

No associations...just passing along what looks like a good deal used.

I use CTEK MUS 4.3. With my 997 which was a DD and occasional use of CTEK the battery lasted 7 years and survived a alternator cable replacement (a well known issue with 997 cars).
