Connected it in the footwell plug, wire exiting on the underside of the door. Working perfectly. Nice solution at a pretty good discount to the Porsche branded one.

How do you like it I'm thinking of getting the same. Either the 4.3 or the old 3300 model. But same accessories.
Really hard to beat Deltran Battery Tender's... 10 year warranty, sophisticated charging algorithms, can be left connected to car without risk of overcharging, compact, durable, inexpensive, come with hard-wire harness, etc. They work equally well on 6V, 12V, conventional lead acid, AGM, Gel, and most LifePo4 batteries.
Between five motorcycles, two cars, a truck and battery-start lawn equipment, they get used pretty much constantly and without failure. They also keep the batteries in play for longer than expected.
Specifically, i'd suggest a Battery Tender 3A Power Plus, $46 shipped on Amazon and often on sale at Costco.
I agree - Battery Tender. Plug it into 12V port in the passenger footwell. Plug the other end into wall socket. Walk away and come back in two months. Cannot get any easier than that.
I use CTEK MUS 4.3. With my 997 which was a DD and occasional use of CTEK the battery lasted 7 years and survived a alternator cable replacement (a well known issue with 997 cars).
I have used two of these on my cars for a couple of years without problem. I picked them up new off of ebay for about $50.
I have seen other chargers that were cheaper - and probably just as good - but Ctek has lots of useful accessories (like cables) that make them easier to use than others.

I've been using the 4-gang Battery Tender for years and agree that it's a good charger. But it will overcharge motorcycle batteries and boil the electrolyte if left connecting for the entire winter.
To avoid this problem, I turn on the battery tender on the first of every winter month and wait for the four connected batteries--2014 BMS S1000R, 1983 Honda CX650 Turbo, 1965 Jaguar E-type, and Honda electric-start generator--to all achieve float mode. This usually takes about a day--never more than two. Then I turn off the Battery Tender until the first of the next month. Since doing this, my battery electrolyte levels have remained at proper levels and the batteries have still survived the winter in good shape.
Never use the ganged charger, but in 15+ years of using Battery Tender's, never had a problem leaving them connected full time to motorcycles... I have four moto's sitting out the winter on them right now. They will stay plugged in until the spring, except perhaps for an occasional ride during a period of nice weather.

Perhaps my unti failing, but I did lose a motorcycle battery a couple of years ago due to a loss of electrolyte.
Reviving this old thread...I just bought a CTEK charger, and it has 3 modes: normal/AGM/RECOND
Could someone tell me which mode I need to use to maintain battery on my 2013 C2 for 2-3 weeks?
I have a feeling it has a non-OEM battery.
Thanks!
Do you know the model number of the CTEK (ref the settings, to confirm mode)? Would also need to confirm battery is wet cell or an AGM. Can you post a picture of the top of the battery showing the label?
Being blunt, there IS a difference between quality products and cheap stuff, and a Charger is no different. A higher quality Charger offers higher Amps for Charging faster, better charging profiles that do not over-cycle the battery, and are built to last longer, and use higher quality components in the build. Cheap stuff is a basic charging profile that does not accurately measure what type of charging is needed for the battery.

Being blunt, somebody would have to prove to me mine does not do all the same stuff for a lot less.
