Funny and timely. Picked up and drove my, new to me, 991.1S from Houston to NJ, just before Thanksgiving.....1700 miles, 27 hours.

Car is equipped we 555's.....incredibly loud! Between the tires and door rattle/vibration I was happy to have PSE and burmester!

Performance wise, love them...did Tale of the Dragon, which I has to myself, and they were great IMO. That being said I look forward to them wearing out and being swapped for something quieter.

I bought mine in Fort Lauderdale in early November and drove it back to Houston. Small world.

That's a bummer about these tires.

I was hoping they were at least decent for the price but if they are making that much noise it would drive me nuts after being spoiled on Michelin and Pirelli

Are they wearing evenly or is it to soon to tell?

I don’t know how old mine are, but over the last month and 3000 miles, they look unchanged and even all the way around (much to my chagrin).

Was also looking at the deal on the 555's on discount tire and was wondering the same. I have them on my Audi A7 (stage 2+) and I don't have any issues with them. Only thing ive seen is that they do have a taller side wall which might be an issue as I have SPASM on my C4S..My Audi is much quicker than the C4s and I rarely go over 100mph due to the terrible southern roads of SC.

I would have to see them first to judge the tire diameters and side walls before I went that route....But the price is tempting for DD.

Pretty decent price .....

Anyone going to give them a try?
315's and 255's fit and looks better too.
