Same model# as in the link I included above; however, this is the least expensive one on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/mods4cars-S...gAAOxyoahSVfuR

BobZ - I should receive mine tomorrow and I noticed something on their website about updating the software. Did you do this, is it necessary and/or difficult. Thanks Mark

I do not even have a smart phone so if I could do it you can! You want to follow the instructions on their web site and it is really easy, and yes, check for updates while it is connected and be sure to set the parameters of what else you want it to do. For example, I set it to leave the radio off upon starting the car and to leave the windows up when lowering the top and I have yet to change the settings but if you do run the USB cable out for easy updating.

Hi Bob, Thanks again. For future people - The main issue for me is that it won't download with Chrome, I used Msft Edge. Mechanically, was finding the little lock holding the grey plastic lock; leave it to Porsche - one lock, locking the other lock LOL.

Surprised it's not spelled "bourdeur"... Sucks buying parts from outside Canada... Can't even think of the money I've had to pay at Canada Post to receive my goods.

Hi guys-
I can offer my experience with Smart Top. I've had it on three cabs now. Literally the same unit. It's fantastic. The latest firmware version is great. I've got it set to open the top while holding the unlock button on the fob for like 2 seconds as long as I'm about 10' from the car. Also it does one touch open from the interior, one touch close and one touch wind blocker. Also it mutes the radio. Sounds dumb but not having the radio cranked when you start the car is GREAT.

It's a no-brainer. Buy it. It's a fairly simple DIY.

Is the ability to open the top by holding the unlock button for a couple seconds new? Did you have to press it 3 times fast prior? I wonder if the Targa option has changed...will have to look into it!
