Default Pictures of Ice Blue (or similar) 991.2

Does anyone have (or have pictures of) a PTS 991.2 in Horizon Blue or similar metallic silver-blue? Similar colors being Azzurro California Blue, Fountain Blue or Horizon Blue.

If you have or have seen a car in one of these colors, what interior did it have -- and how did you like it?

I am in the process of ordering a PTS C4 and am trying to figure out exactly what is best for me. So far, I have learned that Fountain and Horizon are no longer 'legal.' I am unsure what the difference is between Azzurro California and Ice Blue. My impression from the pictures that I found online using Google images is that Azzurro California Blue is perfect on Ferraris but darker and bluer on Porsches.

Put another way, Porsche's version of Ice Blue is more or less the same as Ferrari's Azzurro California Blue. But it is almost impossible to tell from the few pictures online and the variable lighting.

Not sure how far you are from this dealer but they have an ice blue GT3 for sale. I’ve seen it in person and it’s a pretty light blue. Nice color but not pts special imo.

Best pics I've seen—and they're pretty good—can be found by Googling "PTS Ice Blue 991 Turbo HRE".

Thank you both, very much.

Does anyone have any pictures of Azzurra California Blue (azzurrocaliforniametallic) so that I can compare the two. Or, for that matter, if anyone is familiar with both colors, could you describe the difference between them? I am particularly interested in which is darker and which, more 'silvery.'

To be clear, I am trying to compare Ice Blue Metallic to Azzurro California Metallic.

Photos often misrepresent colors. If you are
deciding to order one of these colors as PTS
on a custom order, you need to see both in
person & let you eyes / heart decide. I have
seen both on 911's & prefer 'Azurro' because
it has more 'blue' than 'Ice' & because it was
chosen by PAG for the PCA's 50th Anniversary
coupe! But you might feel differently when you
see both. You need to do your due diligence.
No one but you can answer these questions!

ice blue metallic owner here, while doing research on my own PTS color I did look at Azzuro as it was available at the time as well. Unfortunately I was only able to find internet photos so ended up going with Ice Blue because it was something I could see in person.

How well do you know your local Porsche dealership? If you have a prior relationship with them you can do what I did:

You know those color samples they have at the dealership? Well back in 2008 (someone can google correct me on this, going off memory) for the 997 turbo S they offered IBM and had a color sample of it. My local dealership still had that sample in their back warehouse when I was PTS hunting back in 2014. Maybe yours does too. They were nice enough to let me have it so that I could look at in the sun, in the shade, at home, on my dresser, and at work (obsessive? maybe a tad). At the time it was between Ice Blue Metallic and Viola Pearl Metallic (awesome Jubi 964 color). I got a paint sample of Viola online using the paint code and had a friend that does bodywork make a color sample of it on a piece of metal you can buy from Lowes. This way I could compare the 2 side by side in person under different lighting. Hope this helps

Far be it from me to be the one to correct Eduardo, but, I think he meant to say that “Azurro” was selected by PAG for the 40th Anniversary model, not the 50th.

FI Flyer, check your private messages. The light blue metallics are right in the wheel house of my PTS order. I may be able to offer insight.

That Ice Blue is beautiful. I'd definitely consider that color if I order a GTS. It reminds me of the ole Polar Silver from the 993's.
