Just had my new to me 991.2 GTS delivered. I’m loving it. I came from a 991.1 S PDK, but really needed the manual. The refinement in this car is so good, compared to my old 991.1, I wasn’t sure about the exhaust note of the car, but to my surprise, it sounds very good and I’m happy with it. For me, better in almost every way. Glad I pulled the trigger.

Wow, black beauty, congrats! Paint in the overhead shot looks like it's still wet. Love the alcantara interior too (but I'm too neurotic about wear so went with leather). I also went from a pdk to mt. Thought I'd learn to love it at first, and the performance gain is undeniable but I found it was somehow tarnishing the whole experience for me. Happy to give up a bit of acceleration for the massive jolt of satisfaction that now accompanies every gearchange. Not bashing pdk; it is clearly superior, I'm just a grumpy old fart pining for the air-cooled days, when I first fell in love with these magnificent machines. If I could, I'd have mine converted so the pedals come out of the floor, and for my thumb to get caught in the seat when selecting second, lol.

Anyway, here she is, freshly washed, this time with garage doors shut and rotors gleaming!

Wow, is that voodoo blue or Mexico blue? Hard to tell on that sun, but the car looks amazing. I agree with every comment you made about trying to love the PDK and everything else. It just came down to the fact that a manual gearbox does it for me, every time.

Thanks, it's voodoo. I'm still figuring out all the various shades it turns in different lighting. It's quite a range.

Zunsport. Had a set on my 991.1 as well. Best and easiest fitting grills.

Car looks great - what lip is that on the front bumper? Is that OEM just shot at a different angle?

Thank you. Yep, it’s the OEM lip. It really looks good from that angle.
