Good advice, gentlemen!
Iā€™m going for new tires on Monday and will ask for the $60 ā€œpre-check.ā€

If your tires are not directional

you can swap la left tires, to the right before every event

so the tires wear more evenly

i do this on the stock pirellis

2, 3, 4, 5th set.... 13-19K all quiet with perfect wear.

I'll probably have it checked when I install the next set of tires in the spring.

either you are a very smooth driver or your mechanic has a magical touch (or just torques the sh*t out of everything lol just kiddin) but 5 sets of tires with one alignment and good wear for 75k is pretty incredible.

i owned a E46 M3 way back when and i remember I used to get my alignment every six months (just because I was able) and my before alignment was always off from how I aligned it before. and i consider myself a pretty smooth driver too.

kudos to you

If you track you would want to do an alignment often. If you spin out which you will from time to time unless you drive with psm on, you'll need an alignment if you spin out on to dirt, grass or gravel.
