GTS Radiator Grille Looks Unfinished to Me
Hello All,
I have a GTS on order (fyi, www.porsche-code.com/PJWUGKK0).
I'm excited about everything, except that the front radiator opening looks unfinished to me. Just a big open duct with one crossbar. Is that really it?
I know Rennline (and others) sell mesh grilles. I'm just curious how everyone else views this. It doesn't look right to me.
Thanks in advance! (or point me to the thread where this is already discussed!)

Agree 100%.
Which is why I had ordered a part prior to my car arriving on US shore.

These are the Zunsport grilles I installed on my 991.1 GTS. It took me 30 minutes only because I am not mechanically competent with large instruments. It should take < 15 minutes. Fortunately, I am competent with micro neurosurgery. The smaller the better!

I know you cut the slates to get that GT3 slateless intake look. Think it looks awesome, but were there cut marks left behind? How did you smooth out where you cut the slates and did you have to repaint the plastic slate covers to hide the cut marks?

I have the 991.2 GTS and used Zunsport.
No offense to Rennlist version, but I'd take my version anyday of the week over the alternative version posted above.

It makes it easier to reach in and pick out the leaves.
The multi bar one on my car is a pain in the butt.

I'm still deciding should I get the Zunsport one or the Rennline one. Zunsport one definitely a lot easier to install. But i'm not sure about the gap on the side. The one on their website seems fine but I see some members here had something to say about the gap. Anyone got a closer pic on the Zunsport side grill after installed?
Thanks

Thanks for the discussion everyone. It's helpful.
Can someone clarify this for me?
On a 991.2 GTS, is it true that the Zunnsport grilles mount in front of the crossbar, and the Rennline grilles mount behind the crossbar?
