A 17 year old girl (driving a Kia) crashed into my 911S, TOTAL LOSS :(

Glad you are all OK and no-one was injured!
From looking at the picture it doesn't look too bad and one would think it can be fixed. But when you read about the damage to the frame, and suspension bits, which are aluminum, that sounds expensive.
A real bummer, as it was a really nice car with a great build!
Congrats on the new car! I am sure you will enjoy it tremendously.

Wow, just saw this thread! That is an awesome build. This all turned out well in the end, and its a perfect car for you to do autocross. I am also glad that Pat was able to work a deal that made sense to you. He is the best SA, right?
I'll look forward to see you at the track! Congrats, congrats, congrats!

I hope to have it in time for the drive and dine season LOL! (and autocross!)

Oh, the body shop was enthusiastic that it could be fixed...just $$$$$...

Hey @Hurricane, just saw your post. Couldn’t believe story when you told me at AX event, but it sounded like you were looking forward to finding SB 991. Building your own is way to go. Congrats on new car - very special - and looking forward to seeing it in person next season!

Thanks! Yes, they are - Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 tires on 20" Carrera S wheels.
Same as these: https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKU991WWP2.html
Unfortunately I am pretty sure that they will not fit your car (a 4S, these were from my S) because of the wheel offsets.
I will take photos of them this weekend (used for three winters, maybe 2k miles total, wheels are flawless, includes center caps) and probably post them on our local Porsche forum. (And join Rennlist and maybe do the same.).

LOL. Sadly they just all look like kids now. I had a moment a few years ago when interacting with one of our cheerleaders and her mom where I realized the mom was much more attractive to me. That is the day I officially became OLD!
