At least in the US it is a $2000 option. I think that is true for most countries these days (except for legal requirements Porsche doesn't play many localization games anymore, except for the US which gets shafted on some options such as some seats unless you beg hard in person).

Very nice looking vehicle ... nice to see some satin aluminum on the bar and wheels. I'm surprised I like that option as much as I do on your red car. But, it werks !

I won't be driving around with the Targa top in the boot for some time here in New England. I envy your wonderful weather. Can't wait until May!

Hi, this is CoolHandLuke from Spain. I have been reading you, learning a lot about Porsche cars and I decided today to introduce myself.
At this moment I am the brand new owner of a Jet green 991.2 Targa GTS. I took delivery last thursday and I'm so in love with it!

I'm partial to GREEN cars ... and, trucks. My 2016 F150 Lariat is pretty close to the color of your GTS Targa.

I'm not selling but It's an interesting question. I bought mine with the intention of keeping it because of all the things this article (LINK) says. It's as much as you could wish for in one 911. Last N/A, Targa, Manual, GTS.

 

Imagine driving into your hotel's parking lot and seeing this. They are driving Porsche museum cars on the way up to Monterey. I got to sit in and play inside the 918. They tell me it's one of the first ones produced, with a special VIN, separate from the ones sold. I recognized a couple of guys from my youtube car fetish. One of the cars I noticed in the caravan is a first-generation GT3. I later find out this is because of the significant 20 year anniversary. Like a moth to a flame, I got into the “private event” after chatting with a couple of guys stepping out for a smoke. I was told they noticed me driving in the hotel in the Targa. It’s all a blur after that.

 

I am putting the final touches on mine and will post pics once done, but I stumbled across this 2017 Targa 4S Exclusive Design Edition with just 2k miles that they are asking $160k for. If someone is looking for an almost new special Targa, albeit with a PDK, this is the car for you:
