can someone educate me on the air intake grill on the sides of the front bumper here? is this a customization or a certain model? the other GTS' seem to have 2 or 3 horizontal 'fins' across the intake where you have a nice clean mesh/screen?

 

That's my GTS...I bought the Zunsport grill inserts and it goes on the outside of the horizontal bar...if you look closely on the top picture, you can see the bar behind the mesh. This install took all of 5 mins, I have been very happy...I actually bought the full kit (it does all the front openings) and decided to hold off on putting the inner most ones in...I really did put these on to protect the radiators. If you want more detailed pics, let me know...I think there is a Zunsport install thread as well...

Sorry, the car is Lava Orange over espresso full leather (deviated stitching in Lava Orange), and carbon fiber trim ... just enough to be nice and not over the top.

 

beautiful combination, lava orange seems to be rare but at very nice

Targas have never been my favorite model in the Porsche lineup, but this generation's evolution is the best ever. This is the car I want to own when I grow up.

 

all i have to say is i was never and still on paper not a targa fan (currently a c4gts owner) but there is this guy who parks his 991 targa in front of my apartment building every night and i sh*t you not he has costed me a couple minutes every week as i'm always stopping to admire the beauty of it all before heading home.

i don't get it. but targa looks very nice. kudos to whoever owns one!
