Separation Anxiety!!
Is it just me or does anyone else get separation anxiety when they are away from their p car? Ha. We have gone on two vacations in the past three weeks and I really miss my car when I’m away! My wife does not seem to share this same emotional connection lol

All the time! I only drive it on the weekends and maybe an after work mid-week cruise through the hills. I really look forward to the weekends after driving my other P-Car during the week, well, the PRIUS, LOL!

To your point, when I have a P-car in the garage and I go away for a awhile, one of the first things I do upon return is drive it, weather permitting.

I know that feeling all too well unfortunately. Just knowing that my car is at the house right now sitting in the garage all alone while I'm at work 15 miles away makes me want to cry.

It's really bad for me - honestly I have never been addicted to anything in my life except for these cars. I have a 2014 Boxster S and already have 37k miles on it. (it wasn't even my daily driver). I would come home from work in my Lexus and immediately swap cars for another 20 minutes of driving in the P-car.
I tried to put the car up for winter but couldn't get past day 7 before I ripped the car cover off and unplugged the battery tender.
Fast forward four years: I couldn't stand it anymore so I replaced the Lexus with a 911 so I could drive more in a Porsche (kept the 981 too).
6 weeks after I get my 911, I had rotator cuff surgery on my friggin right arm (both of my Porsches are manuals) so I couldn't drive (legally). A week after surgery (two weeks ago), I couldn't stand it anymore so I took both cars out and had my son shift for me while I pushed in the clutch. I know I set a poor example as a father on this one.....but I had to hear the flat six singing in my ears. Therapy for the mind.....
Just got out of the sling a couple days ago and the first thing I did was take both cars out......hurt like hell to shift but a manual transmission is the best Physical Therapy for rotator cuff surgery. I should be a Physical Therapist.

I occasionally have a little of it on trips. I’m in DC right now. Earlier today as I drove into the Harper’s Ferry Park road there was a couple in a SBM 991.2 Carrera coupe pulling out. I did feel a pretty strong twinge to be in my P-car instead of the Impala rental car.
Was it anyone here? Around 10-10:30 this morning.

Suffering from it a little right now. Car has been in the shop to fix a noise. Been driving a Cayenne loaner for almost a week. Nice sporty SUV but horrible compared to my 911. Hope to get my car back tonight.

I know the feeling. Nothing like spending a week driving a rental car with a slush box to make you appreciate your Porsche.

Mine is parked for the winter, now. I've only owned it for a month and barely had a chance to do 600-700 km.
It's very hard looking at it every day!

You could invest in a set of snow tires and just take the Porsche out when the roads are dry. Since Alberta is downwind of the Rockies, it is relatively dry in the winter, no?
