Ditto but I'm a RR virgin.

Mpower—Last time the Portola was the official hotel. My guess is it was mostly taken by Porsche employees and VIPs (ex-racers, etc).
Just for fun I tried booking a room there for next year RR dates. No room available!

I bought my tickets but it says for GA and Paddock... no mention of corral parking. Did I get the wrong ones?

You did. You need to get the 4 day corral pass and explicitly select the 991 corral if that's where you want to park. It should come out to $175 + $10 fee.

So, what’s the “corral” parking vs regular parking? I know this sounds terrible but I will not be driving the 911 as there is just not enough space for luggage with my wife going, lol. Plus we would stop for wine tasting in Paso, so I will need even more space.

Also, what are the best days to attend?

Corral parking is where you are segregated with your fellow model-era 911s , Boxsters , Macans , etc. by hanging special placards : 991 lot vs 997 lot vs 986 vs 981 etc in closer-in PAVED areas ...the " worthier " the model , the closer , lol ! , by a driveway or two .

General Admission parking is on various first come first seved dusty DIRT lots with Porsches, Nissan Sentras w black tinted windows , rustbucket meth production campers whose owners have no teeth ,etc w some quite a bit farther away up hillsides

Also , be aware it is the hot , dry season then w temps in high 80s and 90s w no shade other than vendor tents ..the weather can be and usually is very different than just a few miles away in coastal Carmel / Monterey which can be 20 -30 degrees cooler
( being inland , its weather is more like that of adjacent Salinas , the ag hub of Monterey area )

I was able to pick up a corral pass this time around but I wasn't so lucky back in 2015. Still, being cast down with the unwashed masses isn't so bad aside from being in a dirt lot. The walk through the parking lot was practically a car show:

I missed the pre-sale and now I cant find corral tickets on ticketmaster. Anyone know if you can still get them?

Parking in the corral for Rennsport V was great.

Edit: Found it: https://oss.ticketmaster.com/aps/mrl...y/quickbuy/223

If you can afford the premier pit row tixs you get full access to the pits as well as food and drink
Expensive but I think it’s worth it
I buy my tixs thru the raceway

At the event in 15 I had to call several times
They opened more suites as time passed
You may want to call and ask if they will be opening more suites
Worked for me last time
Good luck
