Default Question about Wheel Offsets

I have the opportunity to pick up a set of wheels, never used, for my 2017 C4S.

The wheels are the Carrera S wheels painted black (Factory) and they are from a Targa 4S, also a 2017.

My question is is that is there a difference in Wheel offset between the C4S and the Targa?

i know the C2S has a different rear wheel offset and I’m not sure if each model has a difference.

The answered your question it is "no." There is no difference in offset. The Carrera S wheels of both the Carrera 4S and Targa 4S are:

Carrera S IV alloy wheels with open five-spoke design
8.5 x 20 ET 49 with 245/35 ZR 20 tires (front)
11.5 x 20 ET 76 with 305/30 ZR 20 tires (rear)

When you say, " Carrera S wheels"...are they from a Carrera S or Carrera 4S?

The 4S, GTS, GT4S and Turbo are wide body cars.....front offset is the same but rear is different offset from a Carrera and or Carrera S.

Get your stock wheels specs and the specs from the new wheel and go to a wheel calculator like what 101tires.com has and you can input the data and see the difference

there has been a “ Carrera S “ STYLE wheel in three offsets for Boxster, narrow body 911 and wider body 911 since 997.1 /987.1 ( Gen 1 ) ; 997.2 ( Gen 2 ) ; 991.1/981.1 ( Gen 3 ) and current 991.2/981.2 ( Gen 4 )

Sounds like OP bought the correct “ wider rear fenders “ offset Carrera S STYLE Gen 4 wheel
set which has the correct more pushed out offset rear wheels for the C4S/Targa/GTS body . The front wheels are the same offset since the front fender width is the same between the narrow and wider body
non GT/ non Turbo models.

all 4 generations are shown below :
