Default 991 7 MT Clutch Effort - Different Need >>

I just traded my Cayman S (PDK) in for a 2016 911 GTS (991.1) with a manual, 7-speed. Although the PDK is faster than the manual, I found that - at least for me - it removed some of the enjoyment of driving.

I take delivery of the 991.1 next week.

During my test drive, I noticed both the shifter - and the clutch - seemed too "soft". Very "buttery" and "smooth".
I know a lot of people may like this, but to me the clutch and shifter in my 1991 Nissan 300ZX feels much better. The Z has a Jim Wolf Technology (JWT) Sport Clutch, and I put a short shifter in as well.

When I shift in the Z, there is a nice "click" and the gear slides solidly into gear.

When I depress the JWT clutch, it takes a little effort, which I like. I think it adds to the driving enjoyment.

QUESTION:

For my incoming 911 GTS 991.1, I am leaning toward buying the Numeric Racing short throw shifter with a weighted shift ****. I believe this will go a long way toward providing the "feel" I'm looking for.

However, I am striking out on finding a clutch that would work in this car that would offer a firmer engagement.

Is there a clutch available - either Porsche OEM from another model (that will fit in a 991.1) - or - an aftermarket clutch that will provide a firmer feel?

What about the clutch in the GT Cayman R? Does someone have experience with how this feels?

Any other suggestions?

I don't think Jim Wolf Technology makes a clutch for the 991.1.

Thank you!
