Curious: any emissions legal way to make a 991.2 sound better on the interior?

Curious: any emissions legal way to make a 991.2 sound better on the interior?
Currently have a '15 991.1 C2 with a '18 991.2 C2 on order. It's supposed to get here in Dec... or Nov... not exactly sure since the dealer may have succeeded in moving the allocation forward.
One thing I noticed on the test drive is that the car, with PSE, seemed pretty quiet on the inside.
I was wondering if there was anything I could do to abate that... legally?
Looking for an option that I won't have to worry about when going to the dealer and is (relatively) easily reversible for when I jump to the next car in 3 years or so.
Friends recommended a x-pipe, I don't believe that's emissions legal though... any problems with CEL or the dealer or with smell? Easy to undo?
Pardon any ignorance. New to this stuff. I did a bolt-on PSE on my E92 M3 but that didn't affect emissions or anything... just sweet, sweet sound and the dealer installed it because it was OEM.

I believe that when you order Sport Chrono, it comes with an additional sound symposer tube. I have a 2018 with PSE and SC and it sounds pretty good in the interior.
As a comparison, I also have a 2014 Boxster (convertible of course) with PSE and SC and it sounds better.

Anything post cats is emissions legal and does next to nothing for performance... despite the propaganda since the flow is choked by the cats. This is for emissions.
a cat back will help the sound.
the biggest choking point for sound is actually the turbos.

For better sound I would look at the intake. Intake sound plays a large role. And obviously it isn't affected by the turbo.
The mechanical piping of the sound inside the cabin has probably been tweaked for the 991.2. If you have SC then the "individual" settings might allow you to open it more in non-sports mode or something.
Legality - well in MA any replacement of any exhaust or intake component is not allowed for the state inspection. They even install cameras in the inspection station now to track this.

As others have said, drive the car first and start small from there (a high flow filter or an intake) if you are not pleased! You may find that the car is perfect stock as many owners do.
