I'm also guilty of parking next to a 911 I see in the wild.

I find this too...but I have noticed its usually other nice cars that figured there is no way this guy in the 911 is going to bang my door with his....so they park near me for safety sake. At least that's my rationalization of it.

Default Parking next too

Also if you see a car that is older and has no dings abd looks like its been maintained that's a good candidate as well.

Not always true. With my last car, F10 M5, I parked next to a brand new Lexus LS thinking that I should be safe, but when I walked out I see its rear door line just right at my belt line. I came back to my spot, Lexus gone, no car next to me and exactly where I thought his door would hit me, there was a crease down to the base coat. No note left behind. You would think people with nice cars would have the decency to respect other people’s property. Some people are oblivious. I’ve heard a lady told my friend, after swinger her door and slamming his car while we were in it, saying it’s a public space and its bound to happen as its too tight. She proceeded to walk away.

That said....nice pic!!!

I'm the SBM. The wife could open the door up all the way with about 6" to spare. I don't park off center of a spot unless I am at an end spot.
