We have done a couple of in house installs of the Numeric Racing Shifters and I have to say, I am quite impressed how good it feels. My experience with going to a very aggressive and short throw shifter is that the notchiness increases exponentially over stock. I was very pleased when I first used the Numeric offerings to find that yes, they were more notchy than stock but in a way that was an upgrade, IMO. I have not driven one with a weighted shift ****, but I suspect that is the golden ticket with the Numeric shifter that would put it into another league, as you suggest!

Good discussion, and great to get real-world experiences from Numeric and GT4 short shift users.
I am thinking of upgrading to one of these, already did the FF aluminum ****, very pleased with that!
Question: I have a 2013 C2, with Sport Chrono, with rev matching. Are both of these shifters compatible with the rev match function?
I believe they should be, as it seems the mechanical and electronic bits necessary for rev match would be at the transmission, not the shifter.
Thanks for any info on this question.

I've gone down the same path in my 991.2 GTS — stock shifter to the GT4 shifter to the Numeric Racing shifter. Impressions:
Stock — Low effort, **** sat a little high, engagement was slightly vague, centering spring is less stiff.
GT4 — Higher effort, lower **** height, engagement was solid but a little plasticky feeling.
Numeric with weighted FF **** — very mechanical and notchy in a nice way. **** was a little big for my hands and at times felt more clunky than with the OEM *****.
Numeric with OEM **** — I feel this to be a great balance of the mechanical notchiness and fluidity with the smaller size of the OEM ****. This is what I've settled on for now. 5th gear is slightly vague.
