Suspension "knock"

Suspension "knock"
New to me 2013 Carrera S Cab. Have noticed a "knock" sound when driving over bumps or rough road that seems to be coming from some suspension part (shocks, tie rods, etc.) Car drives fine with no alignment issues. 40,000 mile service is due soon and will have shop look for a cause. Anyone else experienced this and what was it?

You might want to have them check to make sure delivery/shipping pads have been removed from the suspension. When I took delivery of my 2014 CPO in early 2016, one of the pads was still there. Stranger things have happened.

I lowered mine a couple months ago and noticed a knock from the front of the car over certain bumps or going in our out of my driveway at an angle. It turned out I didn't tighten one of the bolts enough. After torquing down every bolt and nut, i found one bolt/nut pair that wasn't torqued down enough (upper bolt on front right suspension knuckle... oops).
If I had to guess, I'd say there's probably a slightly loose bolt/nut somewhere within your suspension components.

I recalled a prior post briefly mentioning this and a possible TSB (service bulletin) for it... if the issue is the same.
