I didn't get any photos of the tail lights illuminated, but I can confirm they appear to light up very similar to the panamera. Light bar that has a small break in the center.

I'm sure the final product will look much better. This test mule is still semi altered. Tough to beat how the 991 looks though...

An old friend, a Mech Engineering prof at the University of Illinois, related an interesting story about Porsche A/C development. If you've ever driven a 911 before the 964, you'll know the A/C systems were dreadful. In the late '80s, PCA held their annual Porsche Parade convention in southeast Wisconsin in late July. At this time of year it gets pretty hot and steamy in the Midwest. Not Houston or NOLA steamy, but it's still very "sticky".
Peter Porsche was to attend the event as he often does, and PCNA made sure he had a new 911 to pickup and drive from Chicago to the event. Over the week he had the car, he experienced what poor A/C performance these cars had.
When he returned to Germany an investigation ensued as to why the system was so bad. It turns out that that Porsche heat tested their cars during development in very hot climates, but they were in desert climates, NO humidity! Changes to A/C development and testing ensued. The cool air pouring from Porsche A/C today is due to a Porsche family member experiencing first hand what people had been saying for years about the poor performing A/C system.

I apologize if this was already asked, but is it true all 992's will be hybrids? That is what my SA told me. Wouldn't that mean no more MT?
