In the right color scheme tying the mirrors to the stripe could be cool. Like the idea a little more than the execution in this particular case.

Agree, this is an excellent color combo underneath it all. Perhaps the owner is just playing a joke with the extra badges and stripes.

On another note, gold badges actually look really good against the green. It looks good on the 1M 911 as well...haven't seen gold badges in a long time. Lexus used to offer them back in the 90s.
