So...I have officially owned my 18 Targa GTS for 46 days...and in the process of crawling all over, cleaning and general snooping, I have found 5 of this things (the black washer thing in the top of the picture, not the dime) laying in the back where the Targa lid comes down. I am relatively confident they are just "extras" that didn't get cleaned up...but does anyone know what they might be for? Hopefully not the "Jesus Nut Washer" that holds the Targa lid on.

Is it made from foam material?

If it is they can be found behind rubber grommets that fit into body panels.

Hard to tell if it is foam, it isn't too flexible. If I had to determine the material, it feels like a plastic washer.

they are foam washers that go on white plastic body clips, like the ones that hold side rockers , every clip has one. dont really know the purpose
