Default 991.2 model delete measurement help

Could someone that ordered their car with model designation delete provide me with a simple measurement? I'd like to know the distance between the bottom of the spoiler lip and the top of the "S". I know that when the car is configured that way, the "PORSCHE" is dropped down in location.

You need a template or it'll never be 100%

You're correct that it is dropped when you order the "model delete." Mine is exactley 3 9/16". If you need a "template," some painter's tape will suffice. Just make sure it's not upside down. Good luck.

Understand.

On a previous car the way I centered was by slowly applying painters tape from top to bottom making sure it was even with the top of the body line going top to bottom. Then remove the pieces where the letters go.

Still doesn't help with measurements. Hopefully someone helps or else it may be easier to just head to the dealer.

Noticed your in the SF Bay Area. To get my rear bumper clear bra, my installer had to remove all my emblems. I went to Anderson Behel in Santa Clara to redo my emblems and they have the templates. Give them a call and I'm sure they can help you out.

As as you can tell, I did just PORSCHE and GTS below it.

Are there any dealers in SoCa with "templates" ? I have been tempted to put the "911" back on mine. Not sure I could get it perfect without a template, also, not sure I could find the exact black numbers to match the PORSCHE

I searched for the certified Porsche dealers in my area and called each of them until I found one with a template. The "911" comes in different sizes, one goes with "911 Carrera" and the other just "911" being a touch bigger.

Hummmmm. Mine's at 63 mm. Wonder if yours is lower because of the light bar?

I don't think so as he asked for a measurement from the bottom of the spoiler. 3 9/16 inches = 90.4875 millimeters

Do you have the "model designation delete?"

I bet the difference is they put them lower with the light bar to place them in same relative position on the top portion of the bumper. In other words, they're placed relative to the top of the bumper, not the bottom of the spoiler.
