Another solicitation for an opinion on these vanity plates:
I am looking for some input from the forum on my next vanity tag. I am a Porsche fanatic and I am looking for the coolness factor with the tag. I have narrowed it down to three options. The car is a 2018 C4. I have one on my 2014 Boxster that says TYPE981. I also have the option to change my Boxster tag this month as it comes due for registration renewal. Here are the options for the C4:
1. TYPE991. My Boxster has TYPE981 so this would be cool to have two cars in my garage with the same theme. My in-laws have a 2014 Boxster as well and have the same vanity plate (they live one state away). My wife is adamant that I not change the Boxster tag since her parents bought and plated the car due to my infectious love of Porsches - but I have the last vote too. My son also loves the theme of the TYPE number. I like it to and the theme for the two cars, but I also like variety.
2. LEFTKEY. Wife doesn't like this one. She thinks everyone will think it is related to music. I like the nod to the Porsche racing heritage. Every Porsche person will understand it....even the SUV drivers.
3. FLATSIX. The engine that Porsche is famous for and hopefully will keep around for a long time. When anybody hears FLATSIX, they think of the 911. It's awesome.
I wanted to get DRIVEN because it speaks to me on several levels but a GT3 driver in my state has it and keeps transferring it over to his next Porsche.
Also of note: I have a plate surround on my Boxster that says"Grips roads and hearts". My plan is to move this one to the 911 and get a new one for the Boxster that says "Zuffenhausen Symphony". Fitting since it is the NA engine w/PSE and sounds fricken awesome. C4....not as much even with the PSE.
Again, I am looking for the Porsche coolness factor. I am open to other suggestions too. Thanks for the input in advance.

Can you do "SUBSHOTR"?
And get ride of the silly plate frames. Go with a simple, black, thin, frame. You want side stripes, vanilty plates, badges, you're a damn rolling billboard, man!

FLAT SIX is the best of the names you mentioned. People on the road won't know about your other car so that "coolness" is moot. However, I'd like to see you pick something with more pizazz....

Try telling someone your 991 is a 911. Hell, most Porsche people don't even get it.

I like Flat6 and agree to go with plain black frame

I'm not into vanity plates, so I wouldn't get one at all. That being said, I would choose TYPE991 to match the Boxster if you feel the need to get a vanity plate.

Yeah, if I'm doing a vanity plate, I want it to identify me, not the car. The car's pretty obvious, and doesn't need an extra nameplate.
When I was working, my plate was GMDSNR for Game Designer. Most people had no idea what it meant, though. I had one person ask if I worked for GM.
I see one practical benefit to a vanity plate, it's easy to remember. Seems like I used to have to give out my license to plate to hotels and such a lot. That doesn't happen so much anymore.

I ike TYPE991. It is not obnoxiously vane and matches your other car. Porsche people will get it and may think its cool. Everyone else won't get it but who cares.

Plates are so personal. They tell how you view the world or how you want the world to view you. My sister, before retiring after 35 years of elementary school teaching, ran the plate ZQQKEPR.
On my Cab I have IXXI. I always thought DIAL911 was supercool.
