Default New model spotted undergoing hot weather testing

Got this from a friend who spotted this in Dubai, UAE. It's a 911 not sure if it's a facelift or new model. As it's summer I'm guessing it's hot weather testing judging by the paint and wheels.

Anyone know what model it is? Could it be the 992?

Wider fenders like a awd version

That rear is really... not elegant. Mostly due to the tail lights and deck lid shapes.

I wonder why the lights do not wrap around the rear fenders a little. And they are so narrow...

Must not be he final version.

The through the bumper exhaust is a nice touch.

The rear tail lights do wrap around, but they're hidden under black "tape" as are many other things on that car.

Looks good from what I can see. I like the new hood lines.

Are they going to transfer to having the light bar on all models and not just the 4 versions? Based on the new Panamera light bar and the new Cayenne, I'm guessing it's going to be standard on every model.

Front is too Panamera for me. Not quite as fugly as the slant nose abomination but in that direction. It's like they drew inspiration from the new Cayenne 🙄

I would think you'll be able to order one in March of 2019 as a 2020 model.

Look closely at the tape around the tail lights. Here's a photo of my panamera. I think it's going to look roughly the same.

The third brake light is horrendous. so far all the spy pics i have seen, the 991.1 and 991.2 are the best looking 911's

I think that is a dummy light to throw people off. I am sure that the final version will not have that 3rd light.

Sometimes the final product looks a bit different than the camouflaged prototype. Here are some photos of the 996 prototype. The final product looked quite different.
