Default Standard Sport Plus Seats

How many of you just have the standard sport plus seats on your 911's and like them just fine? I use the back seat area a lot (kids ride back there, etc) and its really lame waiting for the electric seat to go all the way forward. I think i would much prefer just the lever to slide it around. Anyone else the same way? or is it silly to buy a car this expensive and not have fully electric seats.

Love my 4 way SS+. Would spec them over 18 ways in a new car, and I've owned all types of Porsche seats.

I have the sport plus "standard" (4 way) in my 981 and electric 14 way sport seats in my 991S - though the sport plus are incredibly comfortable, I'm always surprised when I switch back to the 991S and it's BETTER. I would say it's more "granular" and I can zero in on what's most comfortable for me with the greater degree of adjustability in the 991S fully electric seats. Hope that helps.

I've got them and love them. I don't use the back seats, but I do slide the seat all the way back everytime I park to avoid wearing out the leather bolsters getting in and out. I much perfer manual to electric for that reason.

I have them as well. I sat in all the seats and found these to fit me best.

I have them in my gt3 and they are excellent. They also weigh something like 60 lbs less than the 14 way. I helped my friend build a C2 and that's what he is going with. They also give you extra leather on the seats vs 14 way

Love them. Fit my body perfectly and love the manual slider.

You made a good call. The best seats Porsche makes at any price, at least for my body type.

Have them in my GT4. Test-sat 918 buckets, 997 GT2 buckets, and 4WSS+ the night before my order locked, and the 4WSS+ were amazing. Super comfortable, more than enough lateral support for canyon runs and occasional track work, and easy to get in and out of. And definitely prefer them to the base seat, 14W, and 18W. So they were a no-brainer for the 991.2.

I think the top three seats Porsche has ever made are:
-Late 1980s/early 1990s sport seats (964/959 cloth particularly)
-Second-gen Cayenne sport seats (or whatever the top seat option was)
-4WSS+

Hey guys,

I have found a stock 991.2 with the perfect configuration for me except the missing 18-way-sport seats plus. Tha car has the 4-way-sport seats plus with seat heating and ventilation.

What do you think about this? Is this a big argument no to go for the car? It will be my first 911 and I could get it within few days

Why don't you just read all the comments above? Seems like your question has already been answered.

Have the regular seats in my 991.2 GTS and they are perfectly fine. I optioned my 997 Turbo with the adaptive sport seats and found out I really didn't need them.

Have the 4 way SS+ and I feel like I wish it had adjustable bolstering, particularly at the top of back where my should blades are. The bolsters pinch my back there and I wish I could widen (or relax, so to speak) the bolstering up there. Not sure whether the 18 way SS+ have that adjustability but wish my seats did. Great for spirited driving but can annoy me when commuting in traffic.
