Your comment just put me at ease... my 991.1 S is en route to me in transit right now... sadly, I've never driven one. Reading this thread was filling me with dread, but now, I'm not as worried

Fabspeed headers and sport cats here. Plenty of exhaust noise can be heard in the cabin. Apparently the sport cats make the biggest difference.

In all seriousness remove the rear seats, bottoms and backs. A little weight savings but I now hear more exhaust and induction sounds than ever before. It's awesome, especially w the Akra exhaust which was already great with the rear seats in place.

I agree, but that wasn't the jist of my comment.

To the OP, put your foot into the accelerator ... you will find it will get progressively louder until you hit the redline.

How much louder does this make the car outside, as well? And if you have PSE then does the on/off button help with quiet / loudness as well?

I find that removing the child seats from the back and folding the seats down Does increase in cabin intake sound significantly.

I am currently seeking additional intake noise to be added to my driving experience.

recently had a new engine filter installed and it sounds great ! Want more enhancement! How does one get more intake sound inside ?

Roll windows down. Trade for 991.1.
