Agreed. IMO interior isn't close to Macan but neither is price............

I am really looking forward to a similar interior refresh in the Macan similar to the Panamera. I actually prefer the SQ5 interior over the Macan's.

Well, rest assured that you're still not a truck person as an A4 chassis with a lift kit on it ain't exactly a "truck."

Q5/SQ5 isn't built on an A4 chassis, but nice attempt at a joke though.

We have a 2014 SQ5 that we custom ordered. It’s a fantastic vehicle. I’m looking forward to seeing the updates in the current model.

That Audi 3.0 compressed is a beast of an engine. Very nice for a daily driver.

The closest I found was the Jaguar 3 liters, also compressed.

The new Audi 3.0 turbo is a different experience. I prefer the old engine.

It uses the VW MQB platform. Same platform as my Golf R.

MQB is not a platform in the tradition way we think of them. It's a VAG modularity initiative to share major components to reduce cost. Different platforms that have transverse engines, regardless of model, vehicle size or brand. In the case of the SQ5, it shares major underpinnings of the A5/S5.

Which shares major underpinnings with the A4, does it not?

Regardless, same point still stands. A5 underpinnings hardly make for a “truck.”
