Great looking car man! Congrats!
Thanks for the translucent tape tip. Hate to keep repeating this....after driving the '15 gt3, I knew that I had to do something about the exhaust. Went w SpeedTech and would do over and over again. It really puts smiles on my face when going WOT in 1st and 2nd. And I have the manual base model!

PM me your email. The next big one is Sep 17. Usually have adhoc stuff between now and the. Not allowed to post details but allowed to refer others in. It's usually close to 100 exotics doing a trip up to some twisty and scenic roads )
KenTo you should come out too! You'll have a great time I'm sure.

Great Review
Like some have said on here, after reading this I am more excited than ever. Unfortunately I don't take delivery until December. Got mine in Miami Blue. Made many trips back to look at the color before making the decision. Congrats on everyone taking delivery of their new babies!!

"The traction in this car is incredible - irrespective of drivetrain. It literally sticks to the road and is difficult to unhinge due to the massive rubber corners."
I have found that my C4S with stock P Zeros must have the tires warmed up or you will lose traction in hard cornering.
I found this out a couple of times during the first Hot lap at DE sessions at Road America and the Milwaukee Mile.
Other wise, nice car and nice review.-Richard

I am waiting for my 2019 991.2 GTS to arrive early Oct and this excellent review/impressions made me giddy with excitement!! Its Carmine Red, PDCC, RAS, Black/Silver sport-tex seats with GTS logo on center console lid ...
I love owners perspectives, especially those who have tried other generations like the 991.1 - this is my first 911/Porsche ever and so sooooo happy to finally have the car I have been dreaming of for years as a kid!

Great review and really nice photos - but how do you like the color?
Funny how we humans react to something as seemingly unimportant (regarding cars, in any case) as the exterior color! But you just KNOW in your heart how important and personal the color is, even though it might be hard to explain the logic of it.
I have always been a fan of silver cars, they always looks classy to me, and that impression has stayed the same for 50 years. My sports cars have always been silver (or some derivative), with the exception of a new car I bought in 2015. I decided to really change it up, and went for..............wait, wait...............red! It looked so good when I first saw my new car inside the dealer show room, and I thought to myself, damn good choice, that red looks so much more exciting than the silver cars I've always had.
But lo and behold, within 12 months I started falling out of love with the red. I like it just fine when I see other red sports cars, I just don't want mine to be red.
I won't make that mistake again - from now on I will always stick to silver.
