Thanks for the translucent tape tip. Hate to keep repeating this....after driving the '15 gt3, I knew that I had to do something about the exhaust. Went w SpeedTech and would do over and over again. It really puts smiles on my face when going WOT in 1st and 2nd. And I have the manual base model!
Ps. The lag is there once you open it up a bit more but very subtle. Nothing like the TT lag but heck I love that too. It's like a slap in the face to wake you up.
I’m happy that I haven’t felt it yet. Ignorance is bliss.
Thank you! Am waiting for the arrival of my own C4 GTS by the end of this month and this was a super read for an anxious soul!
I found it helped me to read other people’s impressions of their 991.2. It made the wait a bit more bearable. I will be very interested to read other 991.2 GTS reviews including yours when it is finally in your hands.
From a personal perspective, I've always felt that the lettering on the rear for a GTS, especially for an AWD model (ie. 911 Carrera 4 GTS) was always a bit too verbose, but this is totally a personal thing.
Enjoy in good health.
I don’t disagree. My daughter and I initially decided to just go with ‘911’ but then changed it back. Now that I have the car, the choice has much less meaning. I find that those things that I was trying to determine carefully during the build phase are less relevant now that I actually am driving the car.
Excellent review, linusto. I've read every published article on the 991.2 C4 GTS and your review is far better than most of the professionals. My '18 C4 GTS should arrive at my dealer any day and you killed the little patience I had left. You car is beautiful. Enjoy.
Sorry for augmenting the anxiety level. I know how difficult it is to sit still the closer you get to the date. I think it’s reallg helpful to get owners’ perspectives. While there is no doubt that we owners are biased, I still love to hear what they have to say as I can quite often strip the bias out of the review. I find that much more difficult with auto journalists.
Great review, well articulated, considered and to the point. Beautiful car .
Thanks randr. I wanted give something back to the forum as I believe I was able to option my vehicle to my maximum satisfaction because of this great forum and the insights of many of you.

I kept the lettering but painted it
