beautiful. I got misty eyed...wow, gulp. my two year old daughter is already in training, says "daddy's car" "porCHA" and likes to sit with me weekend mornings to "read" panorama, and asks to go to "garaggggge" to "play daddy's car" shifting and driving. Makes everything worth it, it really does. (but if you have kids, you already know this!)
Definitely made me choke up. Especially since I took my son to my delivery day last week and saw his face light up as he walked into the dealership. Wanted to touch and feel every car. He was surprisingly interested in the classics as my dealer is a certified classics dealer. He now whines to go out to see my car and touch the wheels (new reason to keep them free of brake dust and chemicals)
its definilty made my new 911 the most special. My dad's dream car was a Porsche. He passed away when he was 33 and I was 8 so he never got to own his dream car. On more than one occasion I've found myself daydreaming that he's in the passenger seat on a sunny day with the top down.
I never take a day for granted. I saw a member's post about him and his dad buying matching 991s. I guess that's my dream one day with my son.
