Default Wider brake pedal for PDK 991

2014 991 w/ PDK.
I find the brake pedal both too small and too far to the right to comfortably brake with left foot.
Anyone make a larger, maybe offset pedal?
Thanks

The the manual of course it matters, but in the automatic who cares the computer heal and toes for you.

I have the Porsche aluminum pedals - the brake pedal is very wide and when you brake it's parallel to the accelerator pedal. It's great for LFB and I do it all the time (I have PDK).

So you can trail brake going into corners and power out...it's a lot of fun! You're not doing threshold braking just applying brake as you reduce throttle than reduce brake as you increase throttle while exiting the turn. Car stays flat and you can really shoot out of a corner .

I LFB in my Cayenne too for muscle memory..

I’m size 12 and have the same issue. It’s not the width of the pedal but it’s offset to the right. If one breaks more towards the right side of the pedal, you can hit the gas at the same time, if your foot is wide enough. PDK heel to toe?

Trail breaking is fun on a track, I too like the practice on my DD

The op has a size 10.5 foot, but the brake pedal is so far to the right my left foot is awkwardly to the right of steering column. The op also has 3 vintage race cars, all with dog box transmissions (clutchless shifting) and for road racing prefers left foot braking.
Dewinator: The PDK is an automatic requiring no heel/toe. You should get out and drive more.

Yep I was thinking you must be a left foot brake guy. Porsche sets up the pedal config for right foot braking plus heel toe as you probably already know.

I was a left foot brake guy until I lost my left leg in a motorcycle accident years ago. I believe I have seen larger bolt on pedal attachments from aftermarket business'. Try Rennline first and see and go from there. You might want to call BGB Motorsports in Daytona, GMG out in California and see what and if they've got any products, ideas or possibly they fabricate a wider (to the left) brake pedal pad.

Hope this helps. Mike

When I go out for a fun drive I take the manual.
