Totally agree with the OP. There are way too many Agate Gray and GT Silver cars. Those colors are great but not when every other car is that color. Porsche needs to start limiting colors to certain model ranges or years. They should also release a classic color available to a certain year. I do love the additions of Lava Orange, Chalk, and Miami Blue. All three are a step in the right direction. 911s are supposed to be colorful. Racing Yellow should be replaced by Speed Yellow. Jet Black should be replaced by Basalt Black. Agate Grey should be replaced by Slate or Seal Grey. Carmine red should be the only red. Make model year and car generation versions a little more unique.

Jeep does this with the Wrangler. Some of the best colors, like Sahara Tan, Commando Green, Anvil, Gobi, Mojave , Gecko green are one year or two year only colors. Every year there's great excitement to see the two or three new colors that come out for that year, as well as finding out if your favorite color from last year is going to be back.
And it's funny, jeep doesn't seem to base the decision on popularity. A color can be wildly popular, and have a one-year run, never to be seen exactly like that again.

I haven't mentioned Miami blue in a while so here goes - Miami blue - one of my favorites. It's a color I cannot stop staring at in awe every time I see it. To me, it's one of those colors where you buy the color not the car. I know some don't like it for its green tones but that's why I like it so much.
Edit: Saw this was for color additions. In that case, I'll put in a vote for Gulf orange. There's a GO GT4 for sale locally and it looks incredible.

I'm surprised there isn't a standard gold metallic option. Maybe they think gold belongs on an old lady's Lexus sedan. I think it would look fantastic and be more popular than the brown metallics.

With all these calls for green and gold, why not show some love for a combination of both: lime gold metallic! I love mine.

Pastel yellow is a bucket list color for me.
Also Cassis Red, and Velvet Red.
First Porsche I ever laid eyes on was some kind of Kelly Green Metallic with the classic Carrera script in black. Freaking awesome.

dmax, I was just poking fun as I think that lime gold 911 has been for sale at Carmax since the beginning of time. I'm actually a fan of the color, I think it looks great.

It's funny how personal taste goes. My wife owned this car for 13 years:
... and neither of us really loved the car because of the color. It's not a bad color, just not one I want in a car. Irish Green is a bit lighter and nicer looking, but I'd still pass on an Irish Green 911.
I do like the Malachite Green NoGaBiker posted. I could love a car in that shade. I think it's because it's not a simple primary color, and thus more interesting. It's almost opalescent.
