Hello;


Doing some routine cleaning of engine (yes, I'm that OCD) and noticed this

The black plastic cover? thingy is covered with oil? car is fine, no issues whatsoever over. no leaking anywhere as far as i can tell. thanks!

That area is just below the oil filter housing. Might have spilled oil removing the oil filter. I would clean it and see if it comes back.

drove by dealer this morning. they suspect it's a little leak from vacuum pump. will work on it tomorrow. they cleaned it up and I drove car for ~20min and haven't seen anything yet.

What exhaust is that? Those welds look home made in the pics.

sounds great, quality can be better indeed. had some minor installation issues with it too.

i'd still recommend them though, great bang for the buck system.

no leak anywhere, everything is tight. oil was a result from the recent oil change! phew

That'll be $200 for the diagnostic fee! I thought dealers did better oil changes than DIYers...

Not. Neither Silver nor Gold Technicians do oil changes. They give it to the newbie or car washer to do it.
