Default Red Coming Off Rear Tail Lights

I remember seeing old threads about this, but for the life of me, I can't find them. Does anyone remember these?

I have a few very-very small spots on the bottom of my red lenses. They will be covered under warrenty.

I had this addressed last week during my 40K service.

I have that too, I assumed someone was careless with the tail lamp during disassembly for service.

I believe it is called delamination. The worst is on my headlights which are starting to look awful. Dealer said that it's not covered under CPO warranty but we are trying to work something out.

my taillights had hairline cracks in them. my headlights had delamination. all was replaced under warranty, despite the fact I had the rear lights painted with black tint (which is when the cracks showed themselves) and the fronts were clear bra'd. also when it showed up as I had just bought the car cpo.

Hey Lex....I remember that thread as well. In fact it made me look at my lights and sure enough they were delaming. They replaced both under warranty no problem.

Thanx! I wish I could find that old thread. Regardless, sounds like I'm covered. I always noticed a very-very-very small mark, but now after 43,000 miles, I want Porsche to cover it, in case it gets worse, and I'm past warranty.

Mine were delaminating and I had them replaced under warranty. You could barely notice it (I did when washing the car) and if Porsche hadn't replaced them under warranty I was going to wait until they got a lot worse to replace them on my own dime.

BTW, my previous 2012.5 991S didn't have that problem so it seems hit or miss.
