It depends on what state you're in. If you live in a CARB state, then once EPA approval comes through you'll still need to wait for state certification. The CARB states are Arizona, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, District of Columbia.

If all '18's are held at the San Diego port, how come several dealers in the area have at least one '18 991.2 listed on their site. Perhaps just allocation they are expecting and the actual car has not yet arrived.

wes66vette: Did you buy the black/black Targa 4 GTS they had on the lot? I test drove that car a few hours before you bought it, beautiful car. Decided to put a deposit on a custom build w/ Euro Delivery.
Enjoy your ride!

Can one of you in a non-CARB state post the emissions sticker data from your MY 2018? For MY 2017 is reads test group HPRXV03.0C91, evap family HPRXR0150R92 with Federal designation of Tier 3 Bin 160. Test groups could change and when they do it's new application.

All good in California, My 2018 911 GTS has been released from administrative hold (AKA CARB hold) Should be delivered in a few days. I will try to pick up next week. I traded in a 2015 GT3 as it was just too harsh riding for an everyday car. I ordered a Carmine Red Coupe with the slightly higher suspension and sunroof. Hopefully it will be exactly what I am looking for as an everyday car. Yeah Porsche!
