Did you buy a whole new wheel with the multifunction buttons? Or did you buy the button inserts for the GT Sport wheel?

Also does it require the 991.1 mf module?

I bought the wheel. I have a 997.1.

I did not replace the steering module , it's from a 997.2.

The 991.2 steering wheel has its own small module that you plug the adapter into.

anybody know how to figure out which multifuction control unit stalk I need to buy for my 991.1 to ADD mf to my car?

I'm not sure why you need a stalk. For a 991.2 wheel, you need a wheel, new style airbag, and the aftermarket module from the link above. Doesn't the new 991.2 MF wheel give you the ability to control your functions ?

The Porsche module is only needed for those with a 2005-2008.
