Hi Sam,

Are your COBB protunes done on a dyno or are they all just OTS maps that any same model car would be able to use? I am very new to Porsche so forgive my ignorance. Do Porsches have any issues to ringland failures or spun rods if you increase power through mods? I've had experience with tuned Subaru STI's and they are just a ticking timebomb.

Thanks,

John

Hi John, we can basically do anything with the access port. Dyno tuning can become a little bit more validated once you get into the higher performance levels. But we have done so many cars with so many configurations literally in the hundreds that we can remotely do very well with data logs. In fact we have done that so many times and when the customer didn't get a chance to go run on the rollers it was wonderful and look like it had been worked on all day long on the same Dyno. As far as failures and engine capacity we have a lot of information on that. Lots of testing has been done extensively and these engines have proven to be quite amazing. Even beyond 800 crank horsepower! I'm always available just a phone call away if I can help you with any specific details or information.
