Sounds pretty good. How's the 'drone' factor? And do they have a valve system?
Thx

Really? I have friends running both in CA. Are they in violation?

Didn't realize it.

Correction:

Akra slip on is CARB compliant since it does not touch the cats.

The Akrapovic isnt sold through its US distribution channel anymore since its not CARB legal.
I just looked, the slip on for the 991 TTS says its CARB compliant.

https://www.akrapovic.com/#!/car/pro...44&yearId=3903

And it looks like Tag Motorsports sells Akra products, and Tag is located in SoCal.

SharkWerks make a great product, increased exhaust sounds, no drone... etc.

BUT despite SupremePower's claim, you will not hear much of an increase in turbo spool sounds with stock cats. with a SharkWerks exhaust..sorry.

Correct: Slip-on is CARB compliant sine it doesnt touch the cats. The full system w hi flow cats is not.

Touché!

Behind the wheel experience vs web info.

We offer an X-Pipe for the 991TT that re-uses the CA legal OEM cats. It is available in either a 2.5" sport version or a full 3" loud version. We also offer a choice of retaining the OEM tips or utilizing our full 3" dual tips (louder).

Pretty much any cat-back exhaust that leaves the cats and all sensors intact (the very definition of "cat-back") should be California legal. I have the Sharkwerks exhaust and like it a lot.

Can any of the exhausts with high flow cats still pass the actual sniffer test in Cali?
