Stable 2 is much more interesting, but it all depends on your needs. If you need a 4-people daily, stable 1 may be the better option.

Stable 2. I own a Jeep Wrangler and they are a hoot if you have a fun place to drive them or use it mostly in town as they are incredibly maneuverable. They are not a comfortable or practical long distance driving vehicle though. So the Cayenne would be my choice if I were limited to a 911 and either the Cayenne or the Wrangler.

the 991 would be a weekend car like my others and once or twice a year for a short 500-700 mile round trip. the cayenne/jeep/etc would be my DD for work and my out and about ride, will take on a trip once or twice a year as well

I would definitely do # 2 that's my same setup

Jeep Wrangler DD... Love the wrangler for what it is, as a matter of fact I get more compliments on the Jeep than on the P-car

14 Turbo S Weekend/some week days.

Stable 1 unless you truly want and need off-road capability. The Macan is an awesome DD, handles well and is very practical and comfortable. It can handle all sorts of weather but don't ask it to go on the Rubicon (off road, with rocks and boulders) trail. The 991 TT/S has supercar performance yet is also quite practical so long as you don't usually have >2 passengers or much cargo.

Stable 2 - already have it. I love my Jeep. Its such an opposite to the 991 TTS.
